For independent repair shops

Your advisors weren't hired to type.

The tech finishes the inspection. The estimate is already built — labor, parts, your prices — inside the shop software you already run.

Your advisor reads it, changes what they want, and sends it. Then they get back on the phone, where the money is.

Stage 01 · The thing nobody says out loud

Building the quote in your shop software isn't automation. It's typing with extra steps.

What shops tell us

"We're already automated — it's all in the system."

The system stores it. Somebody still has to look up the labor time, chase three suppliers for a price, decide what the customer sees, and key every line in by hand.

What's actually happening

Your best advisor spends half the day making paperwork.

Estimates go out late, in whatever order was easiest to write. Customers wait. Work gets trimmed down to what was quick to price instead of what the vehicle needs.

Mechanica does the building. Your advisor does the deciding and the talking — the two things that actually sell work.

Stage 02 · Watch it build one

From the tech's findings to a priced estimate.

Same F-250 as above, built line by line. Nothing here is typed by a human.

The tech finishes the diagnosis

Same inspection, same notes, same workflow they use today. The second it's marked complete, Mechanica picks it up.

02

Mechanica writes the whole estimate

Every job the findings call for — labor time, parts, your prices — built right on the repair order, not in some other tool.

03

Your advisor reviews and sends

Read it, change what they want, send it. Minutes, not an afternoon. Nothing reaches a customer without a human saying yes.

If you can run a shop on it, we can write estimates in it.

Stage 03 · Why the number is right

Every line shows its work.

You don't have to trust a black box. Open any estimate and every line tells you where its number came from — your own canned job, published labor time, a live supplier price, or what your shop has charged for this job before.

So when a customer asks why, your advisor has the receipt in front of them — no parts catalog, no callback, no “let me check on that.”

Your canned job
Priced exactly the way your shop already prices it. Your labor rate, your parts markup, your wording.
Published labor time
Book time for that exact year, make, and engine — not a round number somebody half-remembered.
Live supplier price
What your suppliers are quoting today, with availability — not last quarter's catalog.
Stage 04 · Pricing

Per shop, per month. That's it.

Flat monthly rate per shop — no per-seat games, no cut of your tickets. If it isn't saving your advisors hours a week, you shouldn't be paying for it.

SINGLE SHOP
One flat rate.

We'll quote it on the demo once we see your car count. No surprises after.

Straight answers

Does it send anything to my customers on its own?

No. Mechanica writes the draft. A person at your shop reads it, edits it, and sends it. Always.

Do my techs have to change how they write findings?

No. Mechanica reads the inspections they already do. Cleaner notes make better estimates, but nothing new is required of them.

Will it price things the way we price things?

Yes. Your labor rate, your markups, your canned jobs, your preferred brands. We set that up with you before you go live.

Where do the parts prices come from?

Your suppliers. Mechanica quotes the parts you’d actually order, at the prices you’d actually pay, marked up your way.

How long does setup take?

About a week. Most of that is us learning how your shop quotes, not installing software.

Are you replacing my service advisors?

No — we're giving them their day back. Their job is selling work and taking care of customers, not data entry.

Final stage

See it run on one of your own repair orders.

Twenty minutes. Bring a real RO you'd normally spend an hour quoting, and we'll build it in front of you.
